The Institute of Women Studies and Research in line with its objective to promote the level of knowledge and skills of the researchers, scholars and others holds a number of training workshops in different fields with the participation of outstanding scholars of the scientific and academic centers.

Performance of in the Field of Educational

1 – Training Courses on “Role of Rural Women in Development”

The Project of Training Courses on “Role of Rural Women in Development” was implemented in 1995 with the cooperation of the Research, Education, and Promotion Organization of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad (Office for Promotion of Rural Women’s Activities and the Office of the Rural Women Cooperatives of the Central Organization of Rural Cooperatives) and the Office of the United Nations Population Fund. The participants in these training courses were the general managers and heads of the boards of directors of rural women cooperatives and promotion workers.
The topics discussed during the training courses are as follows:
- Acquaintance with the organizations active in the rural areas
- Principles of cooperation
- A selection of issues related to women’s rights
- Population and family planning
- Principles of environmental health
- Principles of vegetation
- Utilization of agricultural wastes for production of mushroom and fodders
