Achievements of the Research Center


1. One of the research projects completed by the center between 1986 and 1990 was “A Study of the Concept of Mateship in the Holy Quran” which was one of the series of Quranic studies of the Center for Quranic Studies.
The following issues were studied in the research: nature of man’s creation, single soul and mateship in creation in general and mateship among human beings in particular in the holy Quran.

The research project titled “A Study of Age of Puberty of Girls in Islam” was completed in 1989. The study focused on the age of puberty of girls in Islam and its compatibility with the physiological age of puberty of girls in the light of the Quranic verses and traditions. The results of the research were published in the Zan Farzaneh (Scholarly Woman) journal, Volume 5.

The Research project titled “Comprehensive Model of Fertility in Iran”, which was conducted in cooperation with the Center for Strategic Studies affiliated to the President’s Office, was completed in 1992. According to the findings of this study, there are several variables that leave their impacts on the model of fertility in Iran. Such factors as the level of access to life amenities, level of education, level of social relations, level of awareness of the individual of the surrounding environment and socioeconomic issues, and the level of individual expectations constitute factors leaving an impact on the fertility behavior of the individual.

The research project titled “A Study of the Women Mentioned in the Quran” was completed between 1988 and 1992. This project studied all the women mentioned in the holy Quran from the viewpoint of a woman exegete. The result was published in the form of a book entitled “Quran’s Approach to Woman in the History of Prophet”. The book has thus far been reprinted thrice and was published in Arabic and English languages in 2008.
